냥씨(Meowcast)는 계정이 없고, 자체 서버를 운영하지 않습니다. 다만 보상형 광고(최신 버전은 AppLovin MAX, 예전 버전은 Google AdMob)가 들어 있어, 광고를 보여주는 과정에서 기기의 광고 식별자가 광고 회사로 전달됩니다. 또 iOS 앱에는 광고 성과를 재는 Meta(Facebook) SDK가 들어 있어 앱 설치·실행 같은 이벤트가 Meta로 전달됩니다. 아래는 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루는지에 대한 전부입니다.
이 방침은 iOS·Mac·Android 앱 모두에 적용됩니다.
지금 있는 곳의 날씨를 가져오기 위해 대략적인 위치(위도·경도)를 사용합니다. 좌표는 날씨를 조회하는 그 순간에만 다음으로 전송됩니다.
Android 앱은 좌표를 동네 이름으로 바꾸는 일을 기기 안에서 처리합니다 (안드로이드 기본 기능). 이 과정에서 좌표가 냥씨의 다른 곳으로 넘어가지 않습니다.
좌표는 앱 서버에 저장되지 않습니다. 냥씨는 자체 서버를 운영하지 않습니다. 위치 권한을 주지 않으면 서울 기준 날씨로 동작합니다.
고양이 종류, 활력, 생선 개수, 보유 아이템, 낮잠 기록은 기기 안에만 저장됩니다. 앱을 지우면 함께 사라지며, 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.
낮잠 화면과 상점 화면에 보상형 광고가 있습니다. 광고를 끝까지 보면 생선 한 마리를 받습니다. 광고를 보는 것은 선택이며, 보지 않아도 앱의 모든 기능을 쓸 수 있습니다.
최신 버전의 iOS·Android 앱은 AppLovin MAX로, 예전 버전은 Google AdMob으로 광고를 받습니다. Mac 앱에는 광고가 없습니다. 광고를 요청하고 보여주는 과정에서 다음 정보가 광고 회사(AppLovin 또는 구글)와 그 광고 네트워크로 전달(공유)됩니다.

냥씨는 광고 식별자를 자체적으로 저장하거나 다른 곳에 판매하지 않습니다.
iOS 앱에는 Facebook·Instagram 광고를 보고 앱을 설치했는지 재기 위한 Meta(Facebook) SDK가 들어 있습니다. 이 SDK가 다음 정보를 Meta로 전달합니다.
추적을 허용하지 않으면 IDFA는 보내지 않고, 설치 측정은 Apple의 SKAdNetwork 집계 보고로만 이뤄집니다. 추적 허용은 언제든 iOS 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적에서 끌 수 있습니다. Meta가 이 정보를 어떻게 다루는지는 Meta 개인정보처리방침을 참고하세요. Mac 앱과 Android 앱에는 Meta SDK가 없습니다.
기기 지역이 한국이거나 언어가 한국어이면 상점·낮잠 화면에 쿠팡 상품 카드가 보입니다. iOS·Mac 앱은 상품 사진을 쿠팡 서버(coupangcdn.com)에서 불러오므로, 여느 웹 이미지처럼 IP 주소 같은 기본 접속 정보가 쿠팡에 전달됩니다. Android 앱은 앱에 넣어 둔 사진을 씁니다. 카드를 누르면 쿠팡 페이지가 브라우저에서 열리고, 그다음부터는 쿠팡의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다. 이 카드는 쿠팡 파트너스 활동의 일환으로, 냥씨는 이에 따른 일정액의 수수료를 받을 수 있습니다.
이름·이메일·전화번호·연락처·사진·통화기록·주소록을 수집하지 않습니다. 위 3~5번에 적은 것 외에는 어떤 정보도 제3자와 공유하지 않으며, 어떤 정보도 판매하지 않습니다.
냥씨는 만 13세 이상을 대상으로 하는 앱입니다. 어린이를 대상으로 만든 앱이 아니며, 어린이로부터 개인정보를 따로 수집하지 않습니다.
광고는 위 3번에 적은 대로 일반 이용자 기준으로 게재됩니다. 만 13세 미만 자녀가 이 앱을 사용하는 경우, 보호자께서 위 3번의 방법으로 기기의 맞춤 광고를 꺼 주시기 바랍니다. 어린이의 개인정보를 수집한 사실을 알게 되면 바로 삭제하겠습니다. 문의는 9번의 이메일로 주십시오.
앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 모든 기록이 함께 사라집니다. 냥씨는 서버에 이용자 데이터를 보관하지 않으므로 따로 삭제를 요청할 대상이 없습니다. 광고 식별자는 위 3번의 방법으로 직접 초기화하실 수 있습니다. AppLovin·구글·Meta가 받은 정보는 위에 링크한 각 회사의 방침에 따라 처리됩니다.

Meowcast has no accounts and runs no server of its own. It does, however, contain rewarded ads (AppLovin MAX in current versions, Google AdMob in older ones), and serving those ads shares your device's advertising identifier with the ad company. The iOS app also contains the Meta (Facebook) SDK for ad measurement, which sends events such as app installs and app opens to Meta. This is the complete list of what the app touches.
This policy applies to the iOS, Mac, and Android apps.
Meowcast uses your approximate location (latitude and longitude) to fetch the weather where you are. Coordinates are sent only at the moment of a weather lookup, to:
The Android app resolves coordinates to a place name on the device, using the built-in Android geocoder.
Coordinates are never stored on a server. Meowcast runs no server of its own. If you decline location access, the app falls back to Seoul.
Your cat, its energy, your fish, owned items, and nap history stay on the device. They are deleted when you delete the app, and are never transmitted.
The nap screen and the shop screen offer an optional rewarded ad: watch it to the end and you get one fish. Watching is entirely optional and every feature of the app works without it.
Current versions of the iOS and Android apps get their ads from AppLovin MAX; older versions used Google AdMob. The Mac app has no ads. Requesting and showing an ad shares the following with the ad company (AppLovin or Google) and its ad networks:

To opt out of personalized ads: on Android, Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID; on iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
Meowcast does not store the advertising identifier itself and does not sell it.
The iOS app contains the Meta (Facebook) SDK so we can tell whether our Facebook and Instagram ads led to installs. The SDK sends the following to Meta:
If you do not allow tracking, the IDFA is not sent and installs are measured only through Apple's aggregated SKAdNetwork reports. You can turn tracking off at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See Meta's Privacy Policy for how Meta handles this data. The Mac and Android apps do not contain the Meta SDK.
If your device region is Korea or its language is Korean, the shop and nap screens show Coupang product cards. The iOS and Mac apps load the product photos from Coupang's servers (coupangcdn.com), so, as with any web image, basic connection info such as your IP address reaches Coupang. The Android app uses photos bundled in the app. Tapping a card opens Coupang in your browser, where Coupang's privacy policy applies. These cards are part of the Coupang Partners program, and Meowcast may earn a commission from them.
No name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, call logs, or address book. Apart from what is described in sections 3 to 5, nothing is shared with third parties, and nothing is sold.
Meowcast is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Ads are served on the standard basis described in section 3. If a child under 13 uses the app, we ask a parent or guardian to turn off personalized ads using the device settings in section 3. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it; contact us at the address in section 9.
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. Meowcast keeps no user data on any server, so there is nothing separate to request deletion of. You can reset the advertising identifier yourself using the steps in section 3. Data received by AppLovin, Google, and Meta is handled under their policies linked above.
